What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can combine data science and software engineering—building production-ready ML/LLM systems (especially RAG) and shipping reliable web features—with a team that values experimentation and clean, maintainable architecture.

I’m a computer engineer with hands-on experience spanning data analysis, data science, and software development. In my Erasmus internship with the University of Heidelberg’s Data Science Group, I designed an end-to-end Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline using Large Language Models, building retrieval systems with LangChain and optimized chunking strategies. I integrated Pinecone vector database and deployed MeiliSearch using Docker to improve scalable search, including enhanced bilingual query performance in Turkish and English.

I’ve also trained deep learning models for image processing tasks as a student research assistant and supported 5G network optimization at Turkcell using software-based automation solutions. Across university projects, I developed an NLP-based article recommendation system in Python and NLTK and built a full-stack gaming application with responsive web development, strengthening my object-oriented design and software architecture foundation.
