What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue peer-based crisis support—helping clients through safety assessments, harm reduction, and coping skills with confidentiality, resource navigation, and thoughtful follow-through before, during, and after crises.

I actively support individuals during immediate crises through my Peer Support role at the 988 Crisis Line, specializing in harm reduction, substance abuse, sexual assault, and child/teen issues and abuse. I provide coping skills and resources, use safety assessment models to gauge severity, and help people create long-term solutions while validating their experiences. I also handle mandated reporting to the proper authorities when needed.

Previously, I trained and worked with individuals experiencing homelessness through NAMI Peer Link, supporting crisis services, shelter placement, domestic violence resources, and navigation of San Diego Superior Court family law, civil, and probationary connections to health services. Earlier, I led age-appropriate youth support programming through the San Diego County Juvenile Court School Systems, including education on healthy relationships and non-judgmental guidance for teen mothers. I bring a team-oriented, communication-centered approach from both peer support and customer-facing leadership roles.
