Jamie Wolford
@jamiewolford
Compassionate crisis response advocate driving safety, access, and client-centered support.
What I'm looking for
I am a Crisis Response Advocate with hands-on experience providing immediate crisis intervention, safety planning, and coordinated care for survivors and people in recovery. I focus on measurable outcomes—reducing repeat emergency calls and improving client access to shelter and legal support.
At The Center for Women and Families I documented case notes and incident reports to support legal outcomes and funding, and built partnerships with law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community organizations to shorten wait times and expand resource accessibility.
Previously, as a Peer Support specialist at First Step Recovery Center, I led one-on-one and group supports that improved engagement, treatment adherence, retention, and client progress toward recovery goals, while training new staff in de-escalation techniques.
I bring trauma-informed care, strong documentation practices, and a collaborative approach to teams. I aim to create compassionate, trust-building environments that prioritize client safety and sustained recovery.
