I am looking for opportunities that allow me to apply my biomedical knowledge and data analysis skills in a collaborative environment, fostering growth and making a positive impact in healthcare.

As a dedicated student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, expected to graduate in May 2025. My academic journey has been enriched by various scholarships, including the MCAT Ladder Scholarship and the Carlton Rivers Scholarship, which reflect my commitment to excellence. I have consistently achieved recognition on the UAB Presidential Honor Roll, underscoring my dedication to my studies.

In addition to my academic achievements, I have gained practical experience as a Remote Medical Scribe, where I transcribed physician-patient interactions and maintained electronic health records. My shadowing experiences with esteemed physicians across various specialties have provided me with valuable insights into the medical field. I am also actively involved in research at Dr. Gao’s Lab, where I am working on a project that explores the mental health benefits of park visits for low-income seniors, which I have presented at multiple conferences.

My commitment to community service is evident through my volunteer work at Children's Hospital and various health clinics. I also serve as a Biomedical Sciences Peer Mentor and hold leadership positions in several student organizations. I am passionate about using my skills in documentation and data entry to contribute positively to the healthcare sector.
