What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can combine clinical exposure with biomedical informatics—building cancer ontologies, managing research data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

I’m a prospective medical student with a strong foundation in biology, biomedical sciences, and clinical research, and I’m motivated by advancing medical knowledge and improving healthcare outcomes. I’m currently enhancing my expertise through a master’s program and an internship at MD Anderson, where I’m building ontologies for cancer research.

In research roles, I collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement ontologies for cancer research, strengthening data organization and accessibility. I also support biomedical research by structuring biomedical data for innovative studies, and I’ve gained hands-on experience in biomedical informatics alongside data management and statistical analysis.

In clinical settings, I’ve provided direct patient care, taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting physicians during medical procedures. I managed patient records with HIPAA-focused confidentiality and supported specimen collection and basic laboratory tasks, while delivering compassionate patient communication.
