What I'm looking for

I am looking for opportunities that allow me to impact public health positively, focusing on research and collaboration in diverse environments.

I am a dedicated Global Health Epidemiology Researcher with a strong background in public health and a passion for addressing health disparities. Currently pursuing a Master of Health Sciences at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, I have honed my skills in quantifying disease burdens and collaborating with health professionals across various countries. My thesis focuses on the epigenetic landscape of infants and its implications for HIV reactivation, showcasing my commitment to advancing health research.

Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience working with the Center for Disease Analysis Foundation, where I modeled outcomes related to viral hepatitis B and C. My previous roles as a Medical Scribe and Research Technician have equipped me with a diverse skill set, including patient care, data analysis, and laboratory techniques. I am also proud to have contributed to several publications in reputable journals, reflecting my dedication to advancing knowledge in the field.

In addition to my research, I have actively engaged in volunteer work, including assisting in Covid-19 vaccine clinics and tutoring Spanish to medical professionals. I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences to contribute to impactful public health initiatives and drive positive change in global health.
