At the Ministry of Finance’s National Center for Financial Information, I develop, test, and maintain applications for public accounting and State Treasury operations. I also prepare technical specifications and implement application updates for legislative changes.
For OPFV, I contributed to migrating a legacy Visual Basic 6 application to a Java 8 and Spring Boot web application, with Thymeleaf, a REST API, and PDF417 barcode generation.
I also work as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ETTI) – UPB, where I teach mHealth and mobile application development and guide students developing native Android applications.
My PhD research at the Doctoral School of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology focuses on AI, NLP, and NER for real-time medical information extraction and intelligent digital assistants. My research on extracting clinical information from echocardiography reports using domain-specific transformer models was presented at COMM2026.
