Aspiring Neuroscience professional with strong laboratory skills.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated and personable student at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a double major in Neuroscience and French, complemented by a minor in Chemistry. My academic journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence, as evidenced by my summa cum laude high school diploma and my membership in the Frederick Honors College. I am passionate about neuroscience research, particularly in the realm of neuropharmacology, where I have gained hands-on experience in laboratory settings.
During my time as a Neuropharmacology Assistant Researcher at the DiMaio Lab, I conducted significant research on mitophagy in Parkinson’s Disease, utilizing advanced techniques such as immunocytochemistry and Western Blottings. My ability to work independently in cell culture and perform surgical dissections has honed my laboratory skills, allowing me to propose innovative experimental methods to enhance data results. Additionally, my role as an S.T.E.M. AI Trainer at the Runyan Lab has further developed my analytical skills, where I trained AI generators and organized extensive data reports.
