What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated and passionate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Psychology at Lake Forest College. My academic journey has been enriched by hands-on research experiences, where I have explored the intricate relationships between stress, decision-making, and emotional regulation. As a Research Assistant in both the Social Stress & Decision-Making Lab and the Emotion Regulation Lab, I have honed my skills in experimental design, data analysis, and qualitative research, contributing to projects that aim to improve mental health outcomes.
In addition to my research endeavors, I have taken on leadership roles as a Resident Assistant, where I provide peer support and design community programming focused on mental health and well-being. My commitment to fostering inclusive environments is evident in my volunteer work, where I support vulnerable populations through companionship and community initiatives. I am eager to leverage my academic background and research skills to make a meaningful impact in the field of neuroscience and mental health.
