What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can teach Swahili, translate and transcribe accurately, and develop culturally localized learning and media content that helps learners and organizations communicate with excellence.

I’m a dedicated, detail-oriented Swahili Language Specialist with a Bachelor of Education (Swahili Language) from the University of Kabianga (2021). I focus on translation & interpretation (Swahili-English), transcription, and Swahili content writing and editing, with a clear goal: improve learners’ language proficiency and help organizations communicate effectively and culturally.

Since 2021, I’ve worked as a Swahili Language Tutor on freelance/online platforms, teaching Swahili grammar, vocabulary, composition, and literature from primary to adult level. I develop tailored lesson plans for KCSE candidates and adult learners, and I facilitate online classes using digital tools to boost engagement and performance. From 2022 to present, I’ve also supported clients as a Swahili Translator & Transcriptionist, delivering linguistically accurate, culturally relevant translations and high-quality transcription for research interviews, podcasts, documentaries, and training videos.
