Irina Ryzhikh

My professional background sits at the intersection of analysis, operations, and structured research. I naturally gravitate toward problems that are messy, ambiguous, or poorly defined — situations where someone needs to step in, structure the information, understand what is really going on, and turn that into something useful for decision-making.

Over the past few years I’ve worked on more than a hundred analytical projects across finance, economics, and business operations. Many of them started with vague questions or incomplete information. My role was to break those problems down, design a logical analytical approach, synthesize information from different sources, and produce clear reports that help people actually understand the situation and make decisions.

Earlier in my career I also worked inside organizations supporting financial and operational processes. That work included monitoring cash flows, preparing management reports, building budget vs. actual analysis, coordinating payments, and improving internal reporting models. Those experiences helped me understand how real operational systems work — not just in theory, but in day-to-day business processes.

What I enjoy most in my work is the moment when scattered information finally becomes a coherent picture. I like documenting processes, clarifying requirements, structuring workflows, and building analyses that make complex situations easier for teams to navigate. Because of this, I’m particularly interested in roles related to business operations, research operations, analytics, project coordination, and product or strategy support.

I’m comfortable working in remote and distributed teams and managing multiple projects independently. I rely heavily on structured thinking, clear documentation, and strong written communication. In my analytical work I regularly use spreadsheet-based modeling and structured data analysis to organize information, build reports, and support decision-making. I’m also continuing to expand my technical toolkit by developing skills in SQL, Python, and data analysis.
