I’m a backend engineer with 4 years of experience building AI-focused backend systems, strong in durable workflow orchestration, LLM pipelines, and async processing. I care about reliability, recovery from partial failures, and designing systems that keep moving under real-world constraints.

In my most recent role, I led a small team and owned backend design for AI product features such as workflow orchestration, retries, provider fallbacks, and admin tooling. I built Node.js services using NestJS and Express on AWS (including App Runner, ECR, RDS PostgreSQL, S3, Cognito, CloudFormation, and ElastiCache) and designed durable AI workflows using Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, queues, and isolated processing stages.

I’ve also delivered high-impact engineering work through durable AI pipelines, including an email-processing workflow engine that handles about 2,400–2,700 emails per day using BullMQ orchestration, stage isolation, controlled progression, and fallback handling. Alongside that, I implemented Promptfoo-based evaluation to track prompt performance, rerun real production cases with different prompts/parameters, and promote useful cases into the test suite.

Earlier, I rebuilt legacy vibration analysis tooling into Crystal for performance improvements, and implemented Java Micronaut backend services plus Kafka/KsqlDB pipelines for sensor and time-series processing. I’m looking for a backend role with hard technical problems, real ownership, and room to grow across product and infrastructure work.
