At iMoSyS Technology Solutions, I led the architecture and delivery of a Mojaloop-compliant cross-border payment connector for the COMESA Digital Retail Payment Platform, connecting national payment systems and financial institutions across multiple markets. I also audited the transaction idempotency system, fixed a cross-tenant data leak and concurrent retry race conditions, and validated the changes with an 88-case test suite.
I build production payment systems and APIs, including mobile money and VISA POS terminal integrations with Ngenius, Stripe, PawaPay, Paychangu and cryptocurrency gateways. My work includes TypeScript and Python services backed by PostgreSQL and Redis, as well as CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
At New Gradient, I designed and built the Managing Utilities platform end to end, with a Django backend processing meter readings and a React dashboard for operational views. I’ve also developed Flutter apps including MBC Plus and a mobile eHealth data collection app for Malawi's National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Elimination Programme.
