I'm Hody, a software engineer based in Vietnam. I build backend systems and the products that sit on top of them — over 4 years that's spanned e-commerce, ride-hailing, enterprise SaaS and Atlassian apps, usually owning a feature from the database up to the screen.

I'm currently a Senior Software Engineer at Surbana Jurong, building a multi-tenant workflow automation platform for enterprise clients and reviewing code across the services behind it. Before that I worked on a ride-hailing platform in Vietnam, enterprise Atlassian apps with a US-based product team, and e-commerce systems integrated with ERP and CRM backends. Alongside the building, I've led small teams and owned code review and mentoring for junior engineers.

Stack: Go, Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Angular, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS. That list is a snapshot, not a boundary — I've shipped production code in several languages across very different stacks, and I care more about the fundamentals underneath than any particular framework. I also work agent-native day to day: designing the loop rather than delegating to it — scoping what an agent can execute reliably, wiring the tooling around it, and reviewing everything that comes back.

My current role is already fully remote, and I've worked async across time zones with distributed teams in Singapore and the US. I'm looking for remote roles on global product and platform teams.
