Genetics & Molecular Medicine graduate building microbiology lab skills and statistical modeling to deliver reliable healthcare research insights.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Genetics & Bioengineering graduate currently pursuing an MSc in Molecular Medicine at Universiti Putra Malaysia, focused on gene–diet interactions and metabolic risk factors. I bring a research mindset shaped by genetics, nutrigenetics, and statistical modeling.
In my recent internship at BioOptimizers, I supported microbiological testing of probiotic and enzyme-based supplements. I prepared and maintained microbial culture media, conducted bacterial cultivation and CFU counting, and assisted with antimicrobial susceptibility testing and ELISA plate-based growth experiments.
I also enjoy turning messy datasets into clear conclusions. Through my projects, I analyzed growth patterns using MATLAB and Simulink, performed statistical analysis on over 1000 recorded data points, and applied research methods to healthcare digitalisation studies across Bosnia and Herzegovina—identifying 5+ critical gaps and extracting 5+ key trends from 30+ facilities.
I’m especially drawn to roles that value careful documentation and rigorous analysis. I’m interested in entry-level opportunities in research support, data analysis, healthcare analytics, or scientific documentation, with a strong emphasis on reliability, structure, and learning from experienced teams.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Healthcare Digitalisation
International Burch University
Oct 2024 - Jan 2025 (3 months)
Researched healthcare digitalisation across Bosnia and Herzegovina by assessing readiness in 30+ healthcare facilities and identifying 5+ gaps that may hinder adoption of AI-driven medical applications. Performed statistical testing and modeling to visualize key trends and produced a detailed report for professors, colleagues, and potential policymakers.
Research Intern
BioOptimizers
Aug 2024 - Sep 2024 (1 month)
Assisted microbiological testing of probiotic and enzyme-based supplements, preparing microbial culture media and performing bacterial cultivation. Conducted CFU counting and antimicrobial susceptibility testing, supported biofilm/planktonic growth assays, and documented laboratory procedures in structured experimental reports.
Bacterial Growth Modeling
International Burch University
Oct 2023 - Jan 2024 (3 months)
Developed mathematical models of bacterial growth patterns using MATLAB and Simulink to simulate microbial behavior under different environmental conditions. Analyzed 1,000+ data points statistically and presented modeling methodology and results to academic peers and faculty.
