What I'm looking for

I'm interested in health NGOs and medical or public-health translation, patient education, transcription, and subtitling.

I translated approximately 15,000 words of patient education leaflets from English into Swahili on malaria and maternal health for a community health NGO. I focused on clear, accurate language accessible to community audiences.

I also subtitled five youth employment videos into Swahili and proofread the Swahili version of a 50-page microfinance customer handbook. My nursing and midwifery training gives me a foundation in clinical language and patient education, including maternity and paediatric care.
