My Language Studies degree from the University of Dar es Salaam supports my work translating between English and Swahili. I focus on accurate, culturally appropriate translations for documents, websites, apps, and marketing content.
I proofread and edit for grammar, tone, and accuracy, and adapt content to fit its cultural context.
I also work on transcription and subtitling, and write and copyedit content in Swahili.
I’m a native Swahili speaker and fluent in English, with experience researching terminology and working independently in remote, client-facing roles.
