Grace Smith

After fifteen years in design—including time leading a creative team at a 1,000-person established company—I stepped away to run Lucca Lily Design Collective. That experience taught me something crucial: understanding how all the pieces of a business fit together changes how you show up creatively. Running a studio gave me a bird's-eye view of strategy, operations, and cross-functional collaboration that I didn't have before.

I'm returning to corporate because I miss the environment, the camaraderie, and the opportunity to apply that perspective at a larger scale. I want to work on high-level creative challenges where I own the strategic direction and collaborate directly with leadership. I'm looking for a role with real responsibility and decision-making authority—somewhere I can drive creative vision, not just execute it.

My core strengths are art direction, brand development, UI design, and website design. I work across the full spectrum of a project, which means I understand how every decision connects back to strategy and business goals. I'm comfortable working alone or within teams, and I'm genuinely energized by working with leadership and founders who want to think strategically about creative work.
