I’m a detail-oriented Registered Nurse and Medical Virtual Assistant who supports patient care and healthcare teams through remote, HIPAA-compliant administration. I focus on coordinating appointments, communicating clearly, and keeping documentation accurate so care stays continuous and organized.

In my Medical Virtual Assistant Trainee experience at Amarae Telemedicine Academy (ATA), I supported simulated patient scheduling workflows—booking, rescheduling, and follow-ups—by phone and email. I verified insurance eligibility and benefits for 50+ cases using Availity and payer portals, then maintained patient records and updated demographic and insurance information.

I also handled multiple administrative priorities at once, including patient registration, eligibility verification, prior authorization tracking, and claims-related documentation. I monitored pending determinations and drafted correspondence for authorization outcomes and appeals, while reviewing EOBs and patient account information to spot discrepancies and support smoother workflows.

Alongside my clinical foundation, I hold my Registered Nurse License and have continued training with HIPAA Compliance and Virtual Assistance & IT Skills. I’m fully remote-ready and comfortable working with EHR tools and collaboration platforms like SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, Kareo, Zoom, Loom, Slack, ClickUp, and Google Workspace.
