@giovannitauro
Product Manager focused on UX research and CE-ready MedTech products with IoT-enabled interaction.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Product Manager & developer with experience in UX research, functional prototyping, IoT-based systems, and CE-oriented product development. As a PhD candidate in Mechanics and Advanced Engineering Sciences, I blend human-centered experience, sensor-based interaction, and rehabilitation principles to build practical, testable solutions.
At Rehabilia Technologies s.r.l., I lead product development for MedTech and rehabilitation solutions, coordinating requirements, prototyping, validation, documentation, and stakeholder feedback. I manage cross-functional alignment between technical development, clinical/user needs, product strategy, and documentation requirements.
I validate product decisions through user research, usability testing, and iterative development cycles, while supporting lifecycle decisions with attention to usability, safety, technical feasibility, and regulatory readiness. I also work closely with third-party providers to resolve issues, track progress, and meet project goals.
Earlier, at STIIMA, I collaborated with clinicians, engineers, and researchers to design, prototype, and test sensor-based MedTech rehabilitation systems. I built 10+ functional prototypes using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and 3D printing, and contributed to CE-oriented documentation and risk-based design decisions—so teams can move from concept to validated device.
