What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue building hands-on research and clinical experience, particularly in neuroscience, neurorehabilitation, and patient-centered care, while contributing to rigorous experimental and clinical workflows.

I'm supporting spinal cord injury and neurostimulation research in the Perlmutter Lab at the University of Washington, where I conduct behavioral assays and help refine testing methods and SOPs.

I developed a Python-based video-analysis pipeline for rat open-field recordings, quantifying movement features including distance traveled and speed for anxiety-related behavioral assessment.

My research experience also includes sustainable plastic hydrogenolysis in the Rorrer Lab, Duchenne muscular dystrophy gene research in the Chamberlain Lab, and C. elegans studies of protein homeostasis and neurodegeneration in the Kreamer’s and Liachko labs. I've presented research posters on spinal cord stimulation and bimetallic nanoparticles at UW Undergraduate Research Symposia.

Alongside research, I volunteer in high-acuity emergency and inpatient settings at Harborview Medical Center and support patient intake and Arabic–English interpretation at King County Clinic. I'm pursuing a Biology–Physiology degree and am motivated by neuroscience, neurorehabilitation, and patient-centered care.
