What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply econometric, statistical, and machine-learning methods to meaningful economic and labour-market questions, building robust data products and evidence that informs policy and decision-making.

At the UK Office for National Statistics, I develop policy-facing statistical methods and data pipelines for business surveys, labour-market analysis, seasonal adjustment, and large-scale data linkage. I helped model the latent workforce for clean-energy occupations, showing the fully qualified labour pool more than doubles when small skills gaps are allowed for.

My PhD research combines econometrics, time-series modelling, and machine learning to study exchange rates, trade, and financial contagion. I work in R, Python, PySpark, Stata, and LaTeX, and bring over five years of applied statistical experience embedding new methodology into official statistics.
