Gary Wolfe
@garywolfe
An Operations Leader with deep expertise in inventory, compliance, and regulated manufacturing.
What I'm looking for
For more than 35 years, I've built my career in industries where accuracy, accountability, and compliance aren't optional - they're the foundation of success.
I began my career on the production floor in pharmaceutical manufacturing, learning firsthand the value of hard work, teamwork, and doing every job to the best of my ability. As I progressed into leadership, I made a commitment to never forget where I started. I believe the best leaders understand the work because they've done the work, and they earn respect by supporting their teams rather than simply directing them.
Throughout my career, I've been trusted to lead inventory operations, strengthen regulatory compliance, develop Standard Operating Procedures, implement new technologies, support regulatory inspections, investigate complex inventory discrepancies, and mentor employees in highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Today, I serve as a Senior Inventory Manager responsible for Wholesale Operations and Regulatory Compliance, overseeing inventory supporting cultivation, processing, wholesale distribution, and retail operations. My responsibilities include METRC administration, inventory reconciliation, audit preparation, SOP development, technology implementation, and leading a team dedicated to maintaining inventory integrity.
One of the things I enjoy most is solving operational problems. Whether reconciling complex inventory discrepancies, implementing RFID and barcode technologies, supporting facility relocations, or improving inventory controls, I believe every challenge presents an opportunity to strengthen the process for the future.
Over the years, I've learned that inventory management is about much more than numbers. It's about trust.
When inventory is accurate, leaders make better decisions. When documentation is complete, compliance becomes easier. When employees understand why processes matter, accountability becomes part of the culture. That's the environment I've worked to create throughout my career.
I'm proud that many of the people I've worked with - from Merck through my current role - have remained part of my professional network. I value relationships built on trust, respect, fairness, and a willingness to help others succeed. Those same values continue to guide how I lead teams, approach challenges, and support the organizations I'm privileged to serve.
If you're looking to connect with someone passionate about inventory integrity, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and developing people, I'd be glad to connect.
