I've led computer science departments at Catholic University in Erbil, Knowledge University, Arab International University, and Al-Ma'moon University, building curricula, accreditation processes, and faculty development programs across Iraq, Syria, and the United States.

My teaching and research span artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, digital image processing, programming, and software engineering. I have supervised 15+ research projects, published peer-reviewed work in facial recognition, medical imaging, autonomous vehicles, and biometric systems, and developed banknote security pattern methods adopted for national currency design.

I bring a student-centered, inclusive approach to academic leadership, combining hands-on learning, real-world problem-solving, STEM outreach, and cross-cultural collaboration to help students and institutions succeed.
