K Duisheev

I hold a PhD and an MSc in Computer Science and bring 12+ years of combined industry and academic experience. I work effectively in cross-functional, fast-paced teams and focus on scalable, testable software solutions.

In industry, I have built and maintained frontend and full-stack features at firms including JPMorgan Chase and on projects for Amazon, implementing notification subscription systems, admin and investor management pages, and the Amazon Working Well single-page application. I take ownership of features, lead code refactoring to reduce technical debt, and use Cypress and Jest for robust testing.

In academia, I lecture and design curricula—currently as full-time faculty at Collin College—teaching Algorithms, CS-1 and CS-2 while leading the Software Engineering Society. I have delivered machine learning and data structures courses, supervised capstone projects, organized masterclass workshops, and served as Head of Engineering Department.

My technical toolkit includes Java, C++, JavaScript/ES6, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, SQL and NoSQL databases, AWS services, Cypress/Jest testing, and ML/data libraries such as CNN approaches, scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, seaborn, and matplotlib. I seek roles that blend hands-on engineering, mentorship, and applied machine learning.
