What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead hands-on backend and platform work where I can solve difficult reliability, architecture, and delivery problems while mentoring engineers and improving how teams ship safely.

At uMotif, I lead hands-on backend engineering for a regulated clinical-trials platform, shaping Go/PHP services, technical design, code review, reliability, and incident response. I work with Product, QA, Clinical, DevOps, and engineering teams to move backend changes safely through environments.

Previously, I owned backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, and technical delivery at Gradely, building APIs, asynchronous workflows, CI/CD, and containerised AWS delivery for personalised K-12 learning. Across 15+ years, I’ve modernised legacy systems into independently deployable services, led engineers, and built production platforms with Go, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud services.
