What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role coordinating research, communications, or grants where I can apply project management, narrative-building, and outreach to increase engagement and scholarly impact.

I am a communications and research professional with deep experience coordinating scholarly activity, grants, and outreach across higher education and nonprofit settings. I combine strong writing, editing, and narrative-creation skills with project coordination to advance research initiatives.

At Life University I served as Project Coordinator for Research & Scholarly Activities, unifying campus research entities, stewarding student research projects, and coordinating multiple poster symposia and summits. I also co-hosted a university research podcast series to showcase research journeys.

Previously, I supported membership operations for a national nonprofit association and managed grants, communications, social media, and webpage content for a community health center, securing funded grant applications and producing press and event materials. I have led admissions and registrar operations work at a major research university, creating training manuals and process documentation.

I hold two Master of Science degrees (Positive Psychology, Nonprofit Management) and a BA in English & Theatre, and I am proficient in MS Office, WordPress, Canva, Salesforce, Ellucian Banner, Blackboard, ADP, MailChimp/Constant Contact, and other tools relevant to communications, database management, and academic administration.
