What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated political scientist with hands-on experience conducting qualitative field research for international and cross-border projects. I focus on documenting lived experiences and producing clear, actionable reports for program leads.
As a community researcher I carried out interviews on transnational repression, translated questionnaires from Burmese to English, and reported findings to team leadership. I have worked directly with affected communities to ensure their perspectives inform research outcomes.
I have supported participatory research advising constitutional composition processes, recruiting team members, designing research methodology, managing work plans, delivering workshop training, and producing reports. I also collected election data and observed municipal and general elections to interpret and report results.
I bring strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills, proficiency with MS Office, rapid learning, and working knowledge of Burmese (native), English (B2), and basic Thai (A1). I am committed to research that advances democratic processes and community empowerment.
