Ella Werner

I’m a Registered Behavioral Therapist and early childhood teacher focused on helping children grow through structured, supportive learning. I bring the patience and discipline needed for daily routines, while constantly looking for new ways to expand each child’s mind.

As a preschool teacher, I worked with 3-year-olds and was responsible for up to 14 children a day. I built learning through sensory activities designed to strengthen fine motor skills and support development every day.

I later transferred to the Petersburg location and taught a Pre-K class of about 12 children. I taught numbers, colors, and days of the week in English and Spanish, while also using ABA-based strategies—sign language experience, fine motor skill work, and early alphabet worksheets—to prepare children for school in the fall.

In my current role at Total Care ABA, I’m a registered behavioral therapist for children with autism ages 2–12. I run sessions from one hour up to 6 hours Monday–Friday, follow client programs, and implement targets given by BCBA’s. I help children learn to communicate through sign language, AAC devices, PECS boards, and speech, while also supporting fine motor skills, peer play, everyday schedule routines, and small academics to get ready for school.
