I focus on compliance monitoring, operational risk governance, stakeholder coordination, and efficient dispute resolution in high-pressure environments.

At Absa Bank Uganda, I serve as a governance focal point within the Credit Operations Unit, coordinating with Internal Audit, Governance, Compliance, and Risk teams. I conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), run Internal Control Process Self-Assessments (ICPS) and Management Control Process Self-Assessments (MCPS), maintain governance documentation within the Operational Risk Management System (ORMs), and publish monthly Key Indicator (KI) reports to track operational risk trends.

I also ensure CRB compliance by generating returns (including reconciliation before the 15th working day), maintaining alignment to CRB manuals and circulars, and ensuring accurate reporting for Bounced Cheques and Borrower Stakeholder datasets. I guide stakeholders and users on CRB governance requirements, improve data quality to meet regulator thresholds, and support timely issue remediation through reviews, audits, and control assessments.
