What I'm looking for

I’m looking to support Kenya’s health and public sectors by combining health records expertise with accurate English–Swahili translation—delivering clear, culturally sensitive medical and administrative information that teams can trust.

I’m a dedicated Health Records & Information Management specialist with a dual specialization in professional English–Kenyan Swahili translation. I combine strong technical knowledge in medical documentation with linguistic expertise to deliver accurate, culturally sensitive translations.

Since 2023, I’ve worked as a freelance English–Swahili translator, supporting community health awareness and public health initiatives through localized articles, educational summaries, and consistent medical and administrative terminology. My focus is always accuracy, cultural adaptation, and clarity for real-world healthcare and administrative use.

Through academic translation projects at Mount Kenya University and hands-on work with public health campaign content, I’ve translated health informatics coursework and adapted hygiene and health guidance for layperson understanding. I’m passionate about bridging language gaps in Kenya’s health and public sectors—so information is usable, dependable, and respectful of context.
