I’m a NOC Engineer with a BSc Honours in Electronics & Telecommunications Technology and over 3 years of progressive field engineering and network operations experience. I bring hands-on expertise across Fiber, VSAT, LTE, Starlink, and VoIP (3CX), backed by certifications in Sophos endpoint security, Google IT Support, and Cisco networking and cybersecurity.

In my current role as a Harare NOC Engineer, I proactively monitor network infrastructure—links, servers, routers, switches, base stations, POPs, and data centres—using NMS tools. I provide multi-channel customer support and resolve NMS alerts for outages within SLA, troubleshooting system failures, identifying bottlenecks, and coordinating with teams through job cards to keep service delivery on track. I also handle first-line support for base station, POP, and IP Transit outages, engaging third parties for Root Cause Analyses (RFOs).

Previously, as a Harare Field Technician, I installed and commissioned LTE, VSAT, Starlink, and LAN infrastructure across diverse customer sites. I conducted LAN surveys, designed network topologies, and produced detailed network documentation and site reports, while diagnosing and restoring services within agreed SLA timeframes. Whether it’s remote support with tools like AnyDesk/TeamViewer or secure operations using platforms such as SolarWinds and LibreNMS, I’m focused on disciplined troubleshooting, fast alert triage, and continuous improvement to keep networks stable and customers supported.
