What I'm looking for

I’m looking to advance my research in functional foods—designing non-thermal processing experiments, optimizing formulations, and validating nutrient retention and shelf life within strong quality systems.

I’m a Ph.D.-qualified Food Scientist and Research Scientist & Food Technologist focused on functional foods and nutraceuticals. Over 10 years of combined academic and scientific experience drive my work in food formulation, nutrient fortification, process optimization, and functional food development.

I build and execute experimental research to improve product quality and nutrient stability. My expertise spans bioactive delivery systems, non-thermal food processing, and vacuum impregnation & frying, with a strong focus on stability, shelf-life assessment, and ANN-based process optimization.

I currently work as a Food Scientist at ICAR-ICMR PUSA and serve as Associate/Assistant Professor (Food Science & Tech) across affiliated institutions. I deliver UG/PG teaching, supervise postgraduate dissertations, develop industry-oriented certification programs, and contribute to Ph.D. curriculum design while evaluating academic quality and compliance.

My record includes 10 peer-reviewed articles, 2 patents filed, and 160+ citations, alongside 25+ peer reviews. I’m also advancing ultrasound-assisted vacuum impregnation techniques for low-fat, nutrient-rich, underutilized vegetable crisps, supported by quality frameworks such as HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, and ISO 22000.
