What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a finance-operations role where I can own high-volume AP accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and use SQL/Python/Tableau to improve reporting, reconciliation, and budgeting clarity.

I’m an accounts payable professional with an accounting degree and 4 years of Canadian AP and procurement experience. I process 600–800 vendor invoices per month and support the full, controlled AP flow from invoice to payment.

In my roles at The Beer Store and Hub Garage Co., I processed $2–3M in monthly vendor spend in SAP ERP using full three-way matching (PO / Invoice / Receipt). I resolve 50–100 invoice discrepancies monthly by investigating root causes with suppliers and internal teams, recovering funds and protecting payment accuracy.

I bring a finance-operations mindset across month-end support and budget analysis. I support vendor statement reconciliation and accrual support, and I also manage purchasing budgets (including ~$200K annually across suppliers and an ~$800K CAD equivalent purchasing budget previously) to strengthen visibility, terms, and cost discipline.

I’m bilingual (English/Spanish) and I’m currently adding SQL, Python, and Tableau to strengthen financial reporting and analysis. I enjoy turning reconciliation, disputes, and variance signals into clearer processes, stronger internal controls, and better decision-ready reporting.
