Dina Mucunska

For the past 22 years I have been leading Hotel Manastir, a 4-star superior hotel in North Macedonia. When the hotel opened in 2004, it had no brand and no clients. I built the brand, the sales and the service standards from zero. Today the hotel is known in North Macedonia and Western Bulgaria, with guest ratings of Booking 9.2, TripAdvisor 4.5 and Google 4.6.

My daily work is with people: tour operators, travel agencies, companies and institutions from more than ten countries. I prepare contracts and prices, organise group arrivals (70–75% of our guests come in groups), host conferences and events, and handle guest requests and complaints. I kept the hotel working all year round in a very seasonal mountain destination, with 43% annual room occupancy.

In parallel, since 2009 I have worked as an independent consultant and team leader on international projects in six countries, often coordinating partners remotely. I also prepared a new 4-star hotel for opening, organised a multi-year outdoor festival, and taught sales strategies.

I hold a PhD in Tourism (average grade 9.6/10) and a Master's in International Marketing Management (9.0/10). I speak English, Serbian and Bulgarian fluently, and Macedonian is my native language.

What I am looking for now: a remote role with an international company, in operations, customer experience, travel, bookings, events or project coordination. I am open to starting at any level. I learn new systems quickly, I am reliable and precise, and I can start immediately.

Outside work, I love to travel and have visited many countries in Europe and around the world. I lead a mountaineering club and I care about nature and sustainability.
