Diana Johnson
@dianamariahj
Cybersecurity and enterprise application administrator securing access controls, auditing systems, and reducing risk through actionable insights.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Cybersecurity and Enterprise Applications professional specializing in access control, security auditing, control validation, and enterprise system risk reduction. In my current role at Kennesaw State University, I manage and secure enterprise applications to ensure reliability, data protection, and alignment with institutional security standards.
I partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to investigate security issues, enforce least-privilege access, and strengthen application security controls. I run recurring user access reviews and security audits, then translate security findings into actionable recommendations that help business stakeholders understand and manage technical risk.
I also support audit readiness through detailed documentation and process guides, tracking security work through ticketing systems for traceability and reporting. From upgrades and patching to vulnerability remediation and security hardening, I focus on improving controls and reducing operational exposure in real enterprise environments.
Before specializing in enterprise application security, I built a strong foundation through IT support and classroom support roles—troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, delivering end-user training, and improving processes to maintain uptime. I bring that hands-on operational mindset, clear communication, and problem-solving approach to every security and administration challenge.
