Anthony Cleary
@anthonycleary
Information security professional focused on offensive application security, exploit development, and security automation.
What I'm looking for
I am an information security professional with a passion for offensive security—especially in the realm of API hacking, exploit writing, and binary exploitation. I’m self-driven, motivated, and focused on continuously improving my skills while delivering practical security outcomes.
In my current role as a Product and Application Security Engineer, I identify potential risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits through threat modeling, secure code review, and penetration testing. I support ongoing development of in-house technologies, automate security testing and vulnerability discovery, and educate employees on secure coding guidelines and development best practices.
My training and results reflect that focus: SANS SEC660/SEC588/SEC542 coursework, multiple CTF placements (including 1st place finishes), and hands-on lab work such as configuring VulnServer and developing proof-of-concept exploits. I also build and use security tooling across SAST/SCA/DAST, DevSecOps workflows with GitHub Actions, and exploitation tooling like Kali Linux, Metasploit, and Burp Suite Pro.
