Devin Burleson

My career began in K–12 special education, where I developed a strong understanding of the day-to-day challenges educators, students, and school teams face. Over several years in education, I progressed from special education paraprofessional to special education teacher, gaining experience with student support, collaboration, documentation, data tracking, and educational technology.

A major part of my work has involved helping educators use technology more effectively. I have supported colleagues with Frontline Special Education workflows, IEP progress reporting, parent collaboration tools, digital documentation, and practical shortcuts designed to make case management more efficient. I have also created resources and process guides to help teachers learn new systems and feel more confident using them.

I’m especially interested in the intersection of education and technology. I enjoy learning new platforms, troubleshooting problems, simplifying complicated processes, communicating with different types of users, and helping people successfully adopt tools that make their work easier.

As I transition from the classroom, I’m interested in remote and flexible opportunities in EdTech, customer success, sales development, implementation, onboarding, client support, education technology, and other roles where my K–12 experience can be an advantage.

I’m highly coachable, adaptable, curious, and eager to continue developing professionally. I’m looking for an opportunity where I can bring the perspective of an educator while building new skills in technology, business, customer relationships, and the broader EdTech industry.
