@denzasikora
Backend engineer building Python/FastAPI microservices and AI-powered products with scalable data pipelines.
What I'm looking for
I’m an 8++ years backend engineer with a strong focus on Python and production microservices. I build full-cycle systems—from API design and async processing to deployment and observability—especially where AI, analytics, and scalability matter.
As Co-Founder & CTO at AI-CONSTRUCTOR, I developed Python/FastAPI/Alembic backends for product flows, designed an event-driven microservices ecosystem (Kafka + FastStream), and optimized performance by eliminating N+1 queries and reducing DB request frequency via Redis caching. I also led Web3-backend work for referral systems, on-chain/off-chain gamification, and signature verification on smart contracts.
Previously, at Automation of Secure Systems, I migrated Django to asynchronous FastAPI, wrote 100+ unit tests with pytest, and improved reliability by monitoring/alerting that raised SLA from 70 to 99%. I’m comfortable across backend, data processing (PySpark/Pandas/Polars), DevOps (Docker/Kubernetes/CI/CD), and quality engineering—so teams can ship faster with confidence.

Co-founder & CTO
AI-Constructor
Mar 2022 - Mar 2026 (4 years)
Built and led an AI-powered application builder backend and microservices in Python/FastAPI, reducing database requests by 60% with Redis caching and cutting PostgreSQL query time from 2s to 200ms. Implemented Kafka-based event publishing, Web3 referral + on-chain/off-chain gamification with signature verification, and deployed OpenAI-driven content and report summary generation.
Senior Specialist
Automation Of Secure Systems
Jan 2017 - Feb 2022 (5 years 1 month)
Modernized and optimized secure systems by migrating from Django (DRF/ORM) to async FastAPI (SQLAlchemy/Alembic), adding 100+ pytest unit tests with 100% coverage. Improved reliability and performance by raising SLA from 70% to 99%, increasing response time by 30%, and building a 1 TB/day ELT pipeline with PySpark.
Programmer / Researcher
Ural Federal University
May 2013 - Jan 2017 (3 years 8 months)
Developed a tumor diagnostics system in MeVisLab for data imaging and clinical 3D visualization, reducing diagnosis time by 50% and improving accuracy through analytics. Contributed to clinical visualization pipeline development during internship work and co-authored a patent on a physics-mathematical tumor diagnostics method.
