What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a stable long-term role where I can keep developing in IT support and administration—delivering reliable frontline customer service, Microsoft 365 and hardware/software troubleshooting, and accurate records management in a supportive, fast-paced team.

I’m an administrative, public service, and IT support professional with hands-on experience across local government, public sector, and private sector environments. I’m CompTIA A+ certified, and I focus on practical, friendly support that keeps systems working and users moving forward.

In my recent fixed-term role with Galway County Council as a Branch Librarian, I delivered frontline technical support for computer access, software navigation, printing issues, and digital resource troubleshooting. I also managed library IT systems, user accounts, and digital circulation platforms, while planning and delivering community programmes with clear, patient guidance for all technical abilities.

Previously, as a Clerical Officer with the Department of Social Protection, I provided accurate administrative and systems support in a high-volume public service environment. I maintained detailed digital records with data protection compliance and delivered professional customer support, troubleshooting queries, and guiding users through online systems.

Earlier experience includes level 1 technical support at B-Tech Computers and IT/administrative support through an Erasmus+ internship in Spain, plus frontline customer-facing technical guidance as a Brand Ambassador with Currys PC World. I bring strong records management, Microsoft 365 administration and support, Windows and macOS troubleshooting, networking fundamentals, and clear communication—backed by continuous learning in IT support, cybersecurity, and digital marketing.
