David Wyler
@davidwyler
I’m a Lead Full-Stack Engineer building cloud-native, distributed platforms with React, Go/Java/Python, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Lead Full-Stack Engineer with 13+ years of experience building cloud-native platforms, distributed backend systems, and operational web applications across telecom and enterprise SaaS environments. I focus on reliability, performance, and scalable architecture that keeps critical workflows moving.
At AT&T (02/2019–Present), I design and build full-stack platforms and operational tooling for telecom infrastructure, customer-service workflows, and AI-driven operational systems. I’ve led modernization initiatives migrating legacy workflows into containerized microservice architectures on Kubernetes across AWS and Azure.
I develop and integrate backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot), Go, Node.js, and Python, including REST and GraphQL APIs to improve service interoperability. I implement Kafka-based event-driven communication and Redis-based caching strategies to support asynchronous processing and high-volume endpoint performance.
I also bring production excellence through monitoring workflows, incident debugging, and CI/CD reliability improvements, while mentoring engineers through code reviews and collaborative troubleshooting. Earlier at Workday (10/2013–01/2019), I delivered enterprise SaaS features using Python/FastAPI-Flask, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Jenkins-based CI/CD for large-scale HR and reporting use cases.
