What I'm looking for

I seek roles applying genomics and reproducible pipeline development, collaborative teams, opportunities to grow in applied genomics and industry-focused research.

I am a bioinformatics enthusiast with a strong foundation in biology and computation, focused on solving real-world biological problems using data-driven approaches. I have hands-on experience with high-throughput sequencing data, building reproducible NGS analysis pipelines and automating workflows using tools like Nextflow and Docker.

My practical skills include Python, Linux, Bash scripting and common genomics utilities such as FastQC, BWA, Samtools and GATK; I have implemented an end-to-end E. coli whole-genome variant-calling pipeline that produced annotated VCFs and identified ~52K variants. I bring academic training in molecular biology and biostatistics, plus experience collaborating via Git/GitHub, and I am eager to apply these strengths in genomics-driven research or industry roles.
