I've spent over 15 years telling stories as a journalist, editor, and communications professional, including leading the Hermanus Times and reporting for DistrictMail, Breede River Gazette, and People's Post. I also founded and publish The Collection: Field Guide for the Curious, a free monthly digital magazine where I conceive, commission, write, and curate every issue.

The Collection, Field Guide for the Curious, is a free monthly digital magazine for the curious and the creative. A space to slow down, read longer, and think deeper. As founder and editor, I conceive, commission, write, and curate each issue from the ground up.
Worked as Communications Practitioner at South African National Space Agency.
Worked as Editor at Hermanus Times.
I was responsible for covering local government, business and the environment in the Helderberg area. I was responsible for the website and managed social media.
As sole editorial staff member of the Breede River Gazette, I was responsible for creating a weekly community newspaper with in-depth, hyper local news that speaks directly to the diverse communities within the Langeberg area.
As journalist for the False Bay edition, I covered a wide range of topics affecting the various communities situated in the Southern Peninsula of Cape Town.
