At University Hospitals, I create PowerPoint training modules and job aids for new and seasoned caregivers. I also define learning outcomes and measures to help improve employee learning.
I train and mentor new employees across positions, and I create monthly training calendars and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to organize classes and schedules. I serve as an ambassador for new hires and assist with department training classes.
Previously, as a Care Connections Coordinator III at University Hospital, I assisted patients with appointment scheduling, trained new hires, and used Soarian, MDFit, and AEMR to coordinate appointments. I also hold a Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification and have taken part in the Culture Committee’s monthly activities for central scheduling and radiology.
