What I'm looking for

I am looking for a remote software engineering role in backend, full-stack, or AI and data engineering. I am open to full-time, freelance, and contract work. I value clean code, collaborative teams, and continuous learning. Taking ownership of real systems and contributing meaningfully to a supportive team matter most to me.

I am a computer science graduate from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology in Kenya, currently interning as a software engineer at Agile Business Solutions Limited. In my internship, I am building a production-level multi-role job portal API using ASP.NET Core 10, implementing JWT authentication, role-based access control, automated email workflows via MailKit, and managing relational data in SQL Server through Entity Framework Core. All endpoints are documented using Swagger and OpenAPI.

Beyond my internship, I have independently delivered projects, including The Brief, a live blog platform built with JavaScript and Supabase featuring real-time data synchronization, and a comprehensive UI/UX design system in Figma that covers wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes grounded in accessibility and visual hierarchy principles.

My technical stack includes C#, JavaScript, Python, Java, HTML, and CSS on the languages side; ASP.NET Core, React, Node.js, and Express.js on the frameworks side; and SQL Server, Supabase, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL on the database side. I work with Git and GitHub daily and am comfortable with REST API design patterns, BCrypt security, and responsive web design.

I am detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently in remote environments. I am actively seeking remote opportunities in software engineering, freelance web development, and AI training or data annotation roles where my technical background and attention to detail add clear value.
