I'm an independent software developer building public, reproducible projects across backend services, data science, machine learning, search, and accessible frontend work. I ship to public URLs with tests and CI, and I publish negative results as readily as positive ones.

In my Job Board project, I built 224 tests, including an access-control matrix, and improved full-text search from 145 ms to 0.02 ms. For credit-card fraud detection, I used an explicit cost model that recovered $12,168 over a 48-hour holdout at 82% recall; in semantic search, I evaluated six retrieval methods against 1,837 relevance judgments and reported improvements that did not pass significance testing.

My work includes FastAPI and React applications, secure URL shortening, accessible component libraries, Kiswahili voice assistance, command-line tooling, and sentiment analysis. I bring an evidence-first approach: measure before claiming, document decisions clearly, and build systems whose tests verify what matters.
