What I'm looking for

I’m looking for full-time remote work where I can apply my broad HR experience, support business leaders, and manage the employee lifecycle. I’m comfortable working with international clients and independently.

At Blue Ocean Mussels, I lead the HR function for 300–400 employees, report to the CEO, and manage a team of three. I oversee skilled and management recruitment, as well as short-notice hiring that can reach about 100 appointments in a month.

I analyse workforce and absence data for management, prepare statutory workforce and training reports, and run the company’s B-BBEE verification audit. I also advise managers on employment regulation and risk, and draft contracts and HR policies as business needs change.

Earlier, I managed employee relations and the full employee lifecycle at Blue Ocean Mussels, and ran generalist HR functions at VDM (Logistics) and Shoprite Holdings. I’m qualified in business administration, psychology and law, and use HR systems, spreadsheets and analytics tools to support accurate records and useful reporting.
