What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can blend RN triage, long-term care, and behavioral/brain injury experience—using telehealth and strong clinical documentation—to improve outcomes, support teams, and maintain high-quality risk, CQI, and infection-control practices.

I am a Registered Nurse with 12 total years of experience in healthcare—5 years as a CNA and 7 years as a RN. I focus on specialties including mental health and brain injury, geriatrics, wound care, long term care, case management, and long term acute care, with exposure to acute care settings of all specialties.

In my current role as a Telephonic Triage Nurse, I apply clinical judgment and established guidelines to assess beneficiaries and determine the appropriate level of care. I deliver patient education and care recommendations within scope of practice, maintain therapeutic communication, and ensure accurate SBAR documentation while meeting adherence and Average Handle Time goals.

As Assistant Director of Nursing, I returned to lead day-to-day nursing services and helped drive quality and safety through risk management, CQI, and infection control meetings, documentation, and in-services. I supervise and support staff through performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, training, and ongoing guidance, and I manage Minimum Data Set (MDS) reports in compliance with state regulations.

Earlier, I served as a Charge Nurse overseeing 30 residents and 2 CNAs (and up to 43 residents on the night shift), coordinating assessments, medication administration via multiple routes, wound care, catheterization, and interdisciplinary care planning. Throughout my brain injury rehabilitation experience, I’ve worked to aggressively rehabilitate residents for reintegration, building my versatility across settings, clinical documentation, and patient assessment.
