What I'm looking for

I’m looking to develop further in public sector casework with higher-responsibility EO-level duties—delivering compliant customer outcomes, improving accuracy and quality, and contributing to a supportive, high-performing team.

I’m a dedicated Administrative Officer with a strong background in customer service, casework, and public sector administration. I consistently perform at a high standard under pressure, taking pride in the quality of my work and going above and beyond what’s expected.

In my current role at the Home Office – Resolution Centre, I handle a high volume of customer contacts daily across telephone, webchat, and email for visa and eVisa queries. I manage my own caseload, prioritise urgent cases, and ensure contacts are resolved within set timescales, while recording interactions accurately on internal systems.

I apply sound judgment to review customer information and determine the best course of action in line with Home Office policy. I also route cases to the appropriate teams, support and coach colleagues in real time on complex or unfamiliar queries, and I’ve taken on EO-level responsibilities above my substantive grade, including quality assurance.

Alongside this, I hold a degree in Criminology, giving me a solid understanding of the criminal justice system and enforcement work. Earlier experience across hospitality, retail, and contact handling has built a well-rounded, adaptable skill set grounded in professionalism and attention to detail.
