What I'm looking for

I’m looking to grow in healthcare administration, especially authorizations, eligibility, and healthcare revenue cycle work—using fast, accurate insurance and documentation in a patient-facing clinic team.

I manage insurance eligibility and benefits across multiple payers and portals at Apex Spine and Pain Center, including Availity, UHC, Cigna, and Azalea Health.

I verify and validate prior authorizations for injections, pain management treatments, and other procedures, confirm co-pay/deductible/out-of-pocket obligations at time of service, and coordinate upfront patient payments.

I run new patient intake, handle partial intake workflows, capture insurance, enter demographics, and coordinate scheduling across multiple providers, then prepare daily patient prep sheets for both administrative and clinical teams.

Before healthcare administration, I served with the Florida Forest Service in wildfire suppression and all-risk emergency response, and I’m currently working as an EMT with Okaloosa County EMS. I also teach wildland fire EMR through S-130/S-190 and hold an EMR CADRE instructor credential.
